Our story begins in 1957, when we were founded to serve the hardworking employees of General Motors. Built by and for GM employees, our credit union was rooted in a simple idea:
What started as a small, tight-knit financial cooperative has grown into a full-service credit union serving the entire community—while staying true to the values we were built on.
In 2025, we proudly changed our name from DayMet Credit Union to Treadwell Credit Union.
